FREE RELEASE!

This is the sixth full-length album by Nox Nave, full of synthpop and 1980s-inspired electronica. It is also the first synthpop/electronica album since MONSTRUM after a brief era of alternative rock.

Oddly enough, the original production of this album from around 2013 was alternative rock, and it had been that way until about 2021. Most of my lyrics were written many years ago, so for them to coincide with what's been going on these days in terms of politics is just fitting, hence the release. Despite the old lyrics, it was finally time to release the album because the world today called for it.

Some (or many) people might wonder if I hate men because of the dramatic lyrics from this album and even MONSTRUM, despite being one myself. The truth is that I don't. What I do hate is the toxic variant of masculinity: the macho-card-carrying, chauvinistic, Trumpian, John Wayne-worshiping kind who hate other types of men and treat women as pure objects with their "the younger the better" horndog attitude. Masculinity in general is perfectly fine, so please spare me the deflection, but when it crosses the line to the point of looking at others as inferior, that's when we have a problem. We're experiencing something in this world that isn't new and has been around since the dawn of humans: cavemen who want to control women as subservient baby-makers and strip them of all independence. As humans, it's only natural that we want to live and run our own lives, regardless of gender. A man especially has no authority over a woman or her body, and he certainly has no authority over how the world should function according to his regressive ideologies that clearly didn't work the first time around. Freedom is for everyone, not just a select few of one's choosing.
